Bargain!

Yesterday after work I decided to go shopping for some new jeans. Josh's sister recommended Vanity because she really likes their jeans, so I went there and bought 2 pair for $45.00. And since JC Penny is right next to Vanity, I decided to pop in there really quick to see if they had any bargains....ohhhhh man! 3 pairs of dress slacks and 1 dress for $50. I haven't decided if I'm more excited about the fact that I just got a ton of new clothes or the fact that the fancy new dress I bought is a size ten! Holy crap! I think I might have to put it on late and make Josh take a picture of me to post. It is hot. Now I just need somewhere to wear it...

I earned the "plus"...

...so why don't I get it? Seriously. My final grade in one of my classes is clearly a "+" and I want it. It will bring up my GPA a bit and I deserve it. Is it worth complaining about and asking him to change the grade?

Why I love Facebook

This has not really been "my week." Aside from a few arguments over the weekend (now resolved, thanks) and having to work long days at work to make up for taking Monday off (it was worth it), my grandfather had his second stroke in two weeks. So I've been just a little worried about that and, quite honestly, have been distracted from doing anything productive at work....which would explain why I decided to check my facebook account mid-morning. I was so so SO excited to read, "Abigail is in...Idaho" when checking out my friends' status updates! I immediately called her and it turns out she's in Caldwell - just a hop, skip, and a jump from Boise! Abby was one of my favorite people from my time in Valparaiso and I haven't seen her since 2004, when she visited Valpo after moving away to attend seminary at Princeton. Hooray for long, lost friends!
